This is a bell curve depiction of the political spectrum. It has a false symmetry. It would appear to be balanced, but know that in terms of population numbers, that there are many more people on the left side than the right. Why, well it is simply a matter of economics. Rich, ultra rich, powerful people that tend to control companies, kingdoms, countries do not want change. In other words, dominating conservative thinking, Since they are heavily outnumbered by the less fortunate, they do not like democracy, actually they fear democracy. In America and actually any country the rich have great influence on government. In general, the rich do not like taxes, big government; bureaucracy, public schools etc. What public schools?
Well, you see, the rich send their children to "private schools". Private schools live on the right side of the political spectrum. Public schools live on the left side. The total numbers of private school students compared to public school students is vastly different. In the end life is a serious game of numbers and power. The powerful rich are vasty outnumbered. The current "far right" in America seeks control of the media through acquisition, crying "fake news", and lying. The "far right" pushed voter suppression and gerrymandering(google it). If every eligible voter voted, the "Far Right" would lose. In truth the "far right" seeks dictatorship. They want freedom for themselves, but not freedom for all.
