The world to made up of doers, do nothings, naysayers and whiners. The doers do, the do nothings do nothing, the nay sayers say nay and the whiners whine. I like the new Kansas state coaches..They will be DOERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why? am I still ticking?

Well I am about a month away from my 85th birthday. Based on family history going back a few hundred years I am an outlier. Possible reasons, a life of exercise, I quit smoking at age 40, eating more properly in my later years, staying active mentally( my computer is beside me when sitting), reading books(I read every night before sleeping) and give a bit of credit to Kansas State Univrsity. Why KSU? Well I am a KSU Graduate. I look forward to football and basketball seasons, games on TV and for example my grandson Darren and I attended the KSU-KU football game last fall and it was an absolute thrilling last minute 51 yard field goal for the win. All in all I am thankful and forunate to be where I am today amd looking forward to what tommorrow may bring. Incidentally for those who don't know, I am an 84 going on 85 year old LIBERAL, TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE

ok, I have to admit I'm starting today with a celebrating game day Irish coffee. Of course yesterday was actually game day and it had "frosting on the cake" if you get my meaning. EMAW ha ha ha ha ha ha ha My favorite team won and my most hated team lost.
