The economy is fragile. A small oil boom on the East Coast will bolster jobs. In the end we will have to rehab and are beginning to rehab the economy based on alternative energy(you do understand why the sun was worshipped by ancient civilizations don't you?) ah,another question

Why? drill for oil
Well, it is the economy stupid( sorry this the same as a "curse" word to my 5 year old grandson) I think for the most part Obama and his team have done well in navigating through the great storms in Washington. Imagine if you will, If President Obama had, from the git go pushed, hard for a liberal agenda. I mean who has really been guilty of dividing the country. History will judge it was not Barack Obama.

Well the Gulf oil disaster puts a hard twist to the economic argument. But if true safety precautions had been followed the economic benefits would still apply. I am sorry to say the current risk definitely outweighs the benefit.
