Why? the far right and left are similar

Ok, I like Dylan Ratigan and I really dislike Glen Beck. Beck is the classic example of a rabble rouser, a demagogue, a charlatan, a tub thumper etc. But listening to Ratigan today, I realized he has Glen Beck elements. Railing against the banks and the bailout, against Wall Street, against Congress. Hmm, tonal inflections, well at least a bit. I wonder where we would be if Herbert Hoover had been president the past few years? and the answer is?
