Why? expansion

I am not a Texas fan. I am not a Mac Brown fan. But Mac Brown was and is right about this football expansion business. The fans and players should have priority in the consideration to leave the Big 12 and go, let us say, "flee" to the SEC or Pac 12 or somewhere else. In the current Big 12 setup, fans can literally drive to any away game. Parents of players who live in the Big 12 footprint can attend away games without much difficulty. Traveling to the West Coast or East Coast or through "several states" to get to a league game in simply wrong headed. The Big 12 needs 12 teams and ideally they should be within a reasonable driving distance. Please, can we forget for a moment the "bottom line" driven football apocalypse of expansion and let's just play some FOOTBALL. EMAW
