why is heritage important?

to my grandchildren - if you had 63 teaspoons of water and you added 1 teaspoon of salt could you taste it? they are 1/64 cherokee, I am 1/16 salty

the Cherokee were the fiercest of all warriors

I have called upon my ancestors for strength and it has been given to me and I pass it on to my ancestors

I am the decendent of Samuel Heaton of Agra, Kansas. He Homesteaded with his 5 sons in 1872. All pioneers of any sort are brave and have great strength.
